Karpenter, founded in 2009 by Hugues Revuelta, believes in the quality of life. They work primarily with FSC-certified recycled teak (among other types of timber) that has been stringently-sourced from old houses, bridges or boat decks. Each piece has a story to tell and is one of a kind. Consistency in the quality of timber and finishing is ensured on the interior and even the backing of the finished piece, giving you a beautifully weathered and meticulously crafted piece of art for your home.

The man behind Karpenter: Hugues Revuelta takes on an idealistic approach in his works: He is committed to creating functional objects of beauty and grace while reducing negative impacts on the environment. Hugues is always coming up with new design ideas inspired by an appreciation for nature and minimalism. Bringing them to life is his team of skilled craftsmen using the latest technology and machines, combined with old world carpentry techniques to hand-assemble, sand and finish - Adding a human touch to ensure an elegant creation of quality to be enjoyed by generations.
